Acid mist exhaust gas is introduced into the purification tower by the duct, through the packing layer, the exhaust gas and sodium hydroxide absorption solution for gas-liquid two-phase full contact absorption and neutralization reaction, acid mist exhaust gas after purification, and then through the mist removal plate dehydration and mist removal by the fan exhaust into the atmosphere. The absorption solution is pressurized by the pump at the bottom of the tower and then sprayed at the top of the tower and returned to the bottom of the tower for recycling. The purified acid mist exhaust gas meets the emission requirements and is lower than the general emission standards.

The gas in the tower of water spray absorption tower is fed by the fan, the gas is from the bottom to the top, and the absorption liquid is pumped into the top of the tower by the acid resistant pump through the liquid distribution.The absorber liquid is pumped into the top of the tower by the acid resistant pump and sprayed downward evenly through the liquid distribution device, forming counter-current absorption, and the gas is discharged into the atmosphere through the flue pipe after the mist removal section in the tower.The same acidic gas is absorbed by different absorption liquids. Sodium hydroxide solution is used as absorption neutralizing liquid, when the solution concentration 2–6%, the efficiency of purifying hydrochloric acid acid mist can be more than 98%; the efficiency of purifying sulfuric acid mist can be more than 97%; the efficiency of purifying nitric acid.The efficiency of purifying nitric acid mist can be more than 90%. The efficiency of using sodium hypochlorite solution as absorbing and neutralizing solution to purify cyanide-containing waste gas is more than 95%.
